Eisenstein Flaherty Announces New Branding, New Website & New Corporate Structure

PLYMOUTH, MA. (October 15, 2021) – The Eisenstein Flaherty Team is excited to announce a new brand, a new website, and a new organizational structure that better aligns with the expanded scope of services we deliver in support of senior living facilities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The new “EF” leaf represents the growth of our company and the renaissance of the senior living industry as we emerge together from taking on the challenges of COVID.

Our new website, www.EFSeniorCare.com, provides a wealth of information about the services we provide, the stakeholders we support, the expertise of our executives, and our portfolio of companies.  Our new website includes insights and industry resources that you will want to “bookmark” for future reference.

Organizationally, we are announcing the formation of EF, LLC, our new holding company.  EF, LLC provides corporate oversight and shared services across our portfolio of existing and newly formed companies.

Since its founding in 2018, Eisenstein Flaherty & Associates (EF&A) has become a premier provider of senior living consulting and staffing services in our market.  EF&A provides administrative, clinical, back office and financial services including permanent and interim staffing, infection control, mock surveys/survey preparation, Plans of Correction, and crisis management services.  Since the outbreak of COVID, our experts and Certified Infection Control Preventionists have provided on-site Infection Control support for 20% of the Skilled Nursing Facilities in the state as well as Assisted Living Facilities and Rest Homes.

Building on these capabilities, we formed Commonwealth Senior Living Management, LLC (CSLM), in 2019 to provide turnkey operations and management services under long-term leases or interim engagements for Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care,

Independent Living and Rest Home facilities.  In keeping with our new brand, we’ve renamed CSLM as “EF Senior Living Management.”

Today’s announcement also represents the public unveiling of two new portfolio companies under EF, LLC:

• EF Investment Company – which acquires and invests in senior living facilities with our network of partners and investors. Earlier this month we received our suitability approval from MA DPH and will be closing on our first property in November.
• EF Ally – whose innovative, web-based software system provides administrators, owners and department heads with tools to deliver high-quality, compliant care throughout their facilities. More information about EF Ally and how to request a system demonstration can be found at EFAlly.com.

Along with this new structure, EF has reassigned management roles with Mike Nickolaus assuming the role of CEO of EF, LLC.  “In the year since I joined the EF Team, I’ve been continually impressed by the Team’s focus on placing ‘Care’ first and foremost in everything they do,” said Mike.  “I’m delighted to help EF’s Founding Partners, Bob Eisenstein, Patrick Flaherty, and Matt Muratore, and the rest of the EF Team including Joe Veno and Karen Bain, profitably grow this company so we can serve even more seniors across Massachusetts.”  Each portfolio company has a dedicated President from among the EF leadership team to ensure the focus on quality service remains high across our offerings.
